A contrast between the old and the new. Our place has been carefully restored to retain the traditional layout of a Kyoto Machiya but updated with modern fittings and amenities. In the rooms above and at the stairway, say hello to a 105 year old wooden beam.

Feet aching after your sightseeing? Soak in the hot tub with some soothing bath salts and enjoy some personal downtime. Adjust your bathroom climate and set your bath water temperature to relax.
Reverse cycle air conditioning in all 3 rooms for both heating or cooling. A gas heater in the kitchen. Bathroom is equipped with climate setting. You’re covered throughout the house.
Get your laundry done in privacy. There’s a sunning balcony upstairs.
A bicycle is provided onsite for that quick dash to convenience stores or supermarket for your personal needs.
Parking is available nearby for a small fee.
Overnight : 500yen (8pm to 8am next morning).
Mon – Fri : 30 mins/200yen (max charge is limited to 1,000 yen)
Sat – Sun : 30 mins/300 yen (max charge is limited to 1,400 yen)
Smoke detectors are installed throughout the house and there’s a carbon monoxide detector in the kitchen where gas is being used. There’s a fire extinguisher at the door. A small basic first aid kit is prepared in the drawer.
